We are located 13 miles north of Grand Rapids, Minnesota on beautiful Wabana Lake. Come and
enjoy sunset views, water sports, and special moments with family and friends at Wa-Ga-Tha-Ka !
 Furnished cabins are only steps away from our large sandy swimming area, play ground, volleyball court, screen porch and lake side sauna.  Our paddle boat is also available for relaxing moments on the lake. In addition, our resort has a private landing on Little Wabana Lake, longtime known for it's awesome fishing.  Even the youngest kids catch "keepers" right off our dock! Wa-Ga-Tha-Ka also provides use of fishing boats. . . (and tips on where to catch the big ones!)

For those times out of the sun,  each cabin has it's own camp fire pit and grill.   Or, for a change of pace, visit our game room for pool, ping pong, "Wabanapoly" or a movie.  There is no shortage of things to do. If however, privacy is what you want, our 35 acre resort also provides lots of little "out of the way" spots for a good book or nap!

A little about the area. . .

The Wabana chain of lakes is among the cleanest in the state. The deepest spot in Wabana is 120 feet.  By water you can travel close to 35 miles without seeing the same shoreline.  It borders the Chippewa National Forest and for that reason is a private paradise!  The Wabana chain of lakes includes Wabana, Bluewater, Big Trout and Little Trout and they are all accessible by boat from Wa-Ga-Tha-Ka.  There are many sights to explore including the historic Joyce Estate on Trout Lake. The surrounding area also has many other attractions to
discover for those looking for adventure!
